G'day, I'm in the process of hand finishing an Ash body from a Deluxe Players Strat MIM. It's looking good and I'm starting organize some parts.
The original bridge, which I don't have, has 6 screw holes, but they are wider than another vintage style tremelo I do have. Are these bridges unique to this model ? I see that they are gold which fits my plans, in fact it MUST be gold for this project. I'm not really sure what to shop for.
I bought only the body (for it's nice grain) and don't know much about this model. Any help clearing up my confusion about the bridges would be much appreciated.

The bridge is probably AVRI sized, opposed to Mexican Vintage style bridge sized. 56mm E-E spacing. Go from just outside of center of the saddle when measuring that without strings on. If you're about there, you can assume it's correct vintage sized 56mm.

I have that model and yes, it does have the wider 2 7/32" spaced bridge. This same width is also on my MIM 50's reissues. Guitarfetish has 'em in gold.
