Post subject: neck makeover

On a different subject...I just finished making my mid 90's MIA body from a pretty cool Lake Placid to a natural finish. The blue didn't work for me, although it was nice...it was just too BLUE! I have a neck from the mid 60's that I'm going to put on it, but the headstock is kind of flat, should I clear it?
