This model hasn't been released yet. It was just announced at the NAMM show and won't be out until later this year. My only question is how is it going to be different that the Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster, since the two guitarists have such a similar tone.

It will be the same guitar, since KWS just want to be SRV!!!

You can't really say that he just wanted to be like SRV. He does seem to have a very similar tone, and when he is playing blues inspired stuff, he sounds very similar, but he also plays what I suppose would be modern rock (like the stuff that you find in "The Place You're In"). He was very inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughan, but not all of his stuff is exactly the same.

KWS doesn't want to be SRV. SRV is dead.

I read an article that said something to the effect of KWS's dad was with the SRV show. KWS spent a lot of time with the band as a child. SRV showed him how easy it is to play like that.

Too bad they can't do a show together.

KWS was present at a few of the shows that SRV played when he was a kid. His dad was a promoter for a few clubs in the area. He actually managed to meet SRV on at least one occasion (I think there's an interview about that incident on YouTube if you search "Kenny Wayne Shepherd HoB")

I think it could be a 3T sunburst with a rosewood neck and a black pickguard. Instead of SRV, there would be KWS on the pickguard
