sorry for bitching at you, I was just frustrated. I was trying to do the setup with micro screwdrivers and a short one so that made that part easy. I got some new tools, put on a set of D'addario and plan to stick with that brand. I think I got it fixed. Maybe the slight buzzes and intones were already off and I just hadn't noticed. Sorry for directing my frustration at you.

Funny, I just put a set of D'Addarios on my Dlx yesterday, been a while since I used a set other than the Super Bullets on that Strat... my other Strats and guitars still get D'Addario strings and probably always will. But for some reason the Super Bullets work great on the Dlx!

do you have a problem with the ball ends, getting stuck in the trem. I had a hard time taking some of the old strings out.

Yeah, had the same problem... I put a set of D'Addarios on when I first bought the Dlx. When I went to change them the first time it was a pain in the ...! I think that's when I switched to Bullets...
