hey community, a little help please!

I have a 2000 American Deluxe Strat, but I don't know what the color is...it looks like it could be Candy Tangerine or Fiesta Red...but I have no idea if either are correct. Is there an online listing based on serial number? Please advise.

(FYI, the serial number is DZ0260470).

Thanks!

Well, that's the problem, actually :D It could be either Fiesta Red or Candy Tangerine, and I need to nail it down.

Thanks for replying!

If you have the original paperwork look for the part number (such as 0110400706). The last 2 numbers (in this case 06) tell you that this guitar is Black.

OK, thanks for that! It's 02...so where could I find what that means?

Interesting. 02 on the color chart is Lake Placid Blue. Maybe the color chart was different in when the guitar was new.

Could it have been mis-printed. 82 would be Candy Tangerine.
