i have a FSR standard strat HH with vintage style frets, maple neck

curious if it is possible to get another neck with mid-jumbo frets for this guitar? maybe a used neck? or is it too expensive, like better off buying a new guitar when i can afford one?

ok, i'll check ebay out. i'm in NV so i'll ask around.

i need to ask this too: would any strat neck with med-jumbo frets work? that is, i can match the neck specs on my current one, scale length, radius, etc with another one, say on ebay, and it would fit OK?

Yes, any Fender Strat neck will fit on your guitar, whether American or Mexican, or Japanese. However, here are things to consider :
1. 21 or 22 frets ( both will work fine, your choice )
2. Make sure the neck is already a 4 bolt ( 3 bolters require modification )
3. Make sure your stock tuners will fit ( already drilled for your style ) if the neck you buy doesn't come with tuners.
4. Also, for roughly $250 give or take, your stock neck can be refretted with any size frets you desire!

Any standard (mexican) series strat neck will drop right in no problem! Any Fender "licensed" neck, such as warmoth and mighty mite will work as well.
Hope that helps!

and also make sure its not a american deluxe neck, as the 4 bolt pattern is different.
and as were newly informed on the classic players neck's heel is a little thinner than am std.
measured by andy bighair, i may be incorrect but a little research will go along way.

I see you said you are in Nevada. If you are near Vegas check with Strat Pat with Expert Guitar Repair. He is very resourceful.
