How do these serial numbers identify the year of manufacture? When did Fender start building them in Mexico? Any help would be great. Thanks!

Hope this helps you. If it is MZ7 then it is 2007.

Usually you'll find date stamps on the pickguard, body, and neck on recently made guitars.

In the old days, you found date stamps on the neck.

The pots have date codes too.
