Yes it is 1999. Oops...it is possible that the guitar is a 2000. See website :

Looking at this picture.....

I would say it's a 1990.

It looks right to me.

Here is a headshot of a 1999 on e-bay...

And one of a 1990.

It's the Fender logo size, and the space between the letter and the first number of the serial number that give it away.

Hi gusaman,

That isn't a '99 American Standard, for one thing the logo is wrong for '99. In '99 the Am Std had the spaghetti logo, with the serial number on the back of the headstock. It looks like it could possibly be a '90 model, as some of them got an "N9xxxxx" serial number by mistake, and they had the old style logo like that. The serial number does look strange though, with the gap between the N and the numbers. The pictures aren't very clear, not enough detail to tell.

I'll join the choir saying this is one of those 1990 American Standards that wound up with "N9XXXXX" serial numbers by accident. The logo is correct for 1986-1995 American Standards (Fender changed back to the pre-CBS "spaghetti" logo like the 1999 model in Jeffytune's post sometime in 1995).
