Help identifying the model of Fendeer Stratocaster

I recently bought a used Fender for around $700Can. Its has a Z 2008 serial number, aged cherry sunburts finish, maple neck and fretboard (non scalloped). Markings on the headstock is Fender Stratocaster Original Contour Body.

Id really like to find out what model it is, I know I can discount the Deluxe. Its a cracking guitar, action is low and smooth, so Im being nosey more than anything as its is an oustanding player.

Why are you sure it isnt a Deluxe? Any chance you can post pics?

Based on what you describe Id guess its is an American Standard Strat, I think those came in cherry sunburst in 08.
