I was curious as to what the differences are between the American versions of the Clapton body and the Standard body. Will a Standard American 2010 neck fit on a 2009 Clapton body? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that the neck would fit; I belive they are the same width at the 22nd fret even though the Clapton neck has a narrower nut width.

The American Standard bodies are routed HSH; the Clapton bodies are routed SSS plus they have an extra route under the pickguard between the neck and middle pickups for the circuit card for the preamp.

The photo does not show it but the wall in the Clapton trem rout is recess cut for a 9V battery.
