its often not specified when shopping for a strat on craiglist or ebay or kijiji .

i have a 2004 am standard hss .. i love the medium jumbo .. tried the vintage frets on a vintage 57 reissue and didnt like and also tried the jumbo frets on the new american special and didnt like . The best are meidum jumbo IMO

So if im shopping for a mexican strat or american standard or deluxe . Is there years /era where they didnt have medium jumbo ??

i.e

1992 mexican stratocaster

2006 mexican stratocaster

1982 Squier JV series stratocaster

Japan E (eighties) series stratocaster

can someone do me a quick timeline on the fender fretwire . would be appreciate . If the medium jumbo werent introduce in example before 1990 , i wont shop for guitar that has vintage frets .
