Guys, I have a video up on YouTube that has been nominated for Video of the Year. I need votes. I'm not asking you to just blindly vote for my video though. If there is something there that you like better, please, don't feel obligated to vote for mine. But, I think you'll like it. The page is in Japanese so here is what you do.

There will be some little square signs hanging down above the video window. Click on the second sign from the left, that will switch to the category my video is in. Scroll through the videos, there are only 10 in my category, and look for the one titled "97,000 Toothpicks". There will be a pair of gold hands above the video. Click on the hands and your vote is in.

I would really appreciate if you guys could take a look at it and cast a vote for me if you think the video is worthy.

To keep this slightly on topic of the forum, I played a gig in November, a hard rock show, and used my EC Strat with the gold Lace Sensors. I was very impressed with my sound that night. Played through a mid-90's Mesa Boogie Dual Recti Tremoverb.

It appears to be that you can only vote one time. As for iPhones, nope, you need Flash and Apple doesn't allow the Flash Player at this time.

Actually, I'm glad you brought that up. Yes, my students did all the work, I just shot the video. But that thing has been sitting in a back room gaining dust until I put that video up on YouTube. It is now getting the recognition it deserves, as are the kids. If I win this award I will present it to the student council at the morning assembly and I'll make sure the trophy goes on display right next to the artwork. I want no credit for this other than being the person that did something to get it out into the public eye. A simple "Hey, Jim, thanks for doing this" is all I need. YouTube offered me revenue sharing on that video and I declined. I don't want to make money off of the kids hard work.
