Im thinking of buying a second hand Fender guitar for like 200 dollars.

Its Korean made, but has Duncan Seymour pickups.

Is that a good deal? or are there bad things about a Korean made?

Don't see how you can go wrong at that price if it's in decent condition. I didn't play the Korean made Strat, but I did play the Tele with the SD P/U's and actually thought it was the best sounding Tele at the store, except for the American Series.

The neck on this one was curly maple and I didn't like the feel, but build quality was decent. I think the P/U's alone would be almost two hundred bucks, so your basically getting everything else for free.

sounds like you may be looking at a lite ash strat--korean made w/ seymour duncans. if it has a birdseye maple neck w/ abalone inlays, get it fast--i bought one myself new last year. they're a great value for the money new, and if the used one is in decent shape, i'd say you've got a helluva buy there. one fine guitar for the money

Actually,

It's a Toronado in good shape with a small paint crack on the body near the neck, but I like them looking used.

Guess Ill go for it then. Its really a guitar that matches my personal preferences when it comes to looks. I heard the sound is very different from a strat too (logically, since its HH with 2 DS pups).

Thanks for responding
