do all American Standard Stratocasters made in 1994 have the red, white and blue 40th aniversary deacl on the headstock? What makes the 40th aniversary model more valuable?

I can not say for sure they all had that red white and blue emblem but all the ones I have seen have.

As to if it is more valuable, I don't think there any different then the ones made the year before or after, the only increase is to collectors who "Just have to have one" in the collection.

In my mind a guitar is a tool to be used, not collected.
But that's just me.

No, they were just American Standards with that little metal pin/logo and a slightly different neck plate (which I think said something like "40 years and still rockin' ").

I also vaguely remember a CS "40th Anniversary Strat" but don't remember any of the specs. I do know they weren't like the "historically accurate" '54s they built for the 50th Anniversary.
