can anybody tell me anything about mim strats of this time frame?
quality? tone? worth $150?

It's an absolute steal at €150. I used to own an MIM Standard HSS Strat and it was a beauty with great tone. I only sold it to fund the purchase of an American Deluxe Telecaster.

I don't know about Strats from this time period but I have an '04 MIM Tele and it's flawless,sounds great,plays great and has great fit and finish.For $150 you should jump at it.

i have an 03 and i paid 300 for it in 03-04 and i am happy with it, so good deal
