I assume you mean the bridge begins to float off the body. The question is, do you have it setup to float?

Do you use the tremolo? How many springs are there in the back?

i don't use tremolo and only have 3 springs

Diagram in case you do not know what I mean.

-Slacken the strings a bit (tightening down the bridge will raise the pitch of the strings since it is currently floating)

-Tighten down trem claw screws evenly each until the bridge is flush with the body.

It might work with 3 springs, but I use 5 so either way, you can try it out.

should i put in 5 springs

You can try it with 3 first, or you could also block it off.

Blocking off is installing a (removable) a wood block which fits tightly between the rear of the bridge and the cavity wall, thereby immobilizing the tremolo and mimicking a hardtail set up.

+ 1

Also, check your intonation: if the intonation was set up while the trem plate was tilted up it may be off when leveled flat. Hence a flatter sounding intonation.
