Hi cechansler,

Which style of case do you have? If you have the G&G type case, push in on the latch while sliding the button over. If you have the newer TSA case, there is a little lever underneath that you pull outward to unlatch.

Its a G&G case. THe problem is one of the buttons does not move to the right like the other one it just doesnt move at all.

I lock myself out of my brief case all the time. You know, the kind with the little combo lock rollers. They get shifted all the time.

One button moves to the right, and the other one moves to the left. I guess that some joker at the factory could have locked it though. I think that another Fender case key might work if it is locked. :?:

The locks on those G&G cases are so cheap; the tiny mechanism can get knocked into the "locked" position during shipping. However, all the locks are the same so you could either borrow a key from your dealer or probably use a very small screwdriver to move it into the unlocked position. You could also just pry it open and get it repaired later.
