A Avon Rose Morris Les Paul copy. Don't be fooled by the humbucker sized pickup covers, they are singlecoils under there.

Pretty much identical to this

Don't have it anymore. Thinking of buying that one, just not for that price.

I hate to sound like a stick-in-the-mud, but I hope we don't start clogging up this part of the forum with posts that might be better suited at the "Lounge".

It was a MIJ red Squier Stratocaster. Got it for X-mas in 1985. I was 10 yrs old. Kept it for 12 yrs and sold it. I wish I still had that one.

Not bad pickups, very dark, high output singlecoils with all the noise they attract.

Not really one thing or the other. If I buy that guitar in the picture (for the sake of nostalgia), I'll pull em apart and photograph em. I seem to remember the magnet being a huge thing with a small coil ontop.

It was not unheard of for Japanese manufacturers to do that in the 70's.

my first electric, a Fender telecaster Deluxe Blackout alongside my first ever acoustic, a Yamaha FG700S. I should have NEVER EVER sold the Blackout.

Mine was a pre-lawsuit Ibanez Les Paul. My father bought it for me in 1976. Still have it.
