Same magenet configuration as on the MIM Standard Strat ceramics that came off my 2009 MIM Standard Strat. Unless Fender changed the pickups, they should be the same as what is on the OP's MIM's. But the only way to know would be to look at them.

Have you measured the coil ressitance of those pickups?

Using the ohm meter function of a digital voltmeter you can measure the resistance of the pickup coil. The higher the resistance, the louder the pickup will be in general. Magnet type and strength also affects output, but the coil resisitance is a pretty good indicator.

I just measured the coil resistance of the old ceramic magnet pickups I took out of my 09 MIM Standard Strat. They are all about 6.8K ohms. Sometimes the bridge pickup is wound a little hotter. The Fender SCN pickups that I installed in their place are:

Neck = 6.5K ohms
Middle = 6.5K ohms
Bridge = 11.5K ohms

I have another guitar with humbuckers. The factory humbuckers measured 10K ohms for the neck pickup and 12.4K ohms for the bridge. Their replacements measured 10K ohms for the neck and 14K ohms for the bridge! They are considerably louder than the SCNs in my Strat. :shock:
