I haven't modified anything yet but just by putting down the gain (and so the volume), in the "metal or hard or 90's american" presets, it really improves a lot.

Thank you very much metropolis. And you are right, i must improve my technique if i want to make the guitar sound good.... u are also right about the finger and pick noises. it happes a lot... I came from the acoustic world and i just played a few chords... just to passing time and enjoy. But i really love the music and the guitar, so i'll keep on playing, yes, and improving i hope.

Shimmilou, i'll keep you all posted as i keep making changes etc..... thank you very much.

One question mates, it really changes the sound when changing the pickups?? (imagine hambuckers, etc...) And... it's enough to have an amp like the mustang 2 or eventually u will need one pedal??? For the moment I'm happy with this and since what i want is to learn and improve... it's all enough for me, but i've go that newbie doubts... =)

Thank you people!

The pickups are pretty much the heart of your sound. There are many types of pickups, each with a unique sound that is quite different. I think your amp has so many effects and models built in that you really don't need any pedals. I think that the setup you have now, will be enough for you, for years to come. Heck, it will probably take you quite awhile just to learn everything that you already have. This site says that you have 24 effects already built in, like "chorus, flanging, phasing, tremolo, vibratone, step filter, reverb, echo, octaver and more — 12 modulation effects and 12 delay and reverb effects in all." Check this out, there are a couple of videos along with lots of great info. You have some great gear, no doubt about it, enjoy. :)

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.
