I bought a 2010 American Standard from a guy on E-bay. It has Staggard tuners as they all do however the E and A tuners look to be different than the rest. Yes I know they are suppose to be taller and they are but they aren't made the same just above where the string wraps. Right on top. Also the last four are all the same size. Are they not suppose to be 3 separate sizes. I'm 99.9% sure this guitar is legit but these tuners concern me. Please take a look.

Look perfectly normal to me for a mid 2000's guitar

Yep, same staggered tuners that I have on my '08 Am Std. :)

Thanks guys. I was worried. I have a set of Sperzel's and they come in three different heights. And are all made the same. I've never looked closely at one of these headstocks. It just looks like the first two dont match the rest. But as long as ya'lls look like mine, I'm happy. :D :) 8)

Those are made by Shaller, I have a set and they are just fine.
However IMHO the best out there for a strat are the Gotoh's mini 510 with an 18 to 1 ratio and the delta's with a 21 to 1 ratio.

That is done to help eliminate the string tree. It helps pull the strings down wards on an angle.
