I have played a handful of Strats in the past year, and all though i love the sound and the look, im not huge on the feel of the necks or just how they feel while picking. i was curious as to whether or not the Clapton strat feels different from the standards/deluxes/mims etc. i cannot find any retailers who carry them, and not many decent reviews are available on youtube. Thanks for any information anyone can give me

I love the feel of the neck on my clapton strat. I hardly pick up my other custome shop strat because it doesn,t feel like my Clapton.

Yeah they feel slightly different. I'd question their validity for fingerstyle playing. The 'tronics don't seem geared up for that to me. More geared up for heavier plectrum attack.

I have a 57VHR which has a very similar neck. Very thin, comfortable and easy to get round. That may suit your playing style better. It's a world apart from the deluxe in terms of feel. A lot less generic. I own a 04 deluxe too, to compare it to.

It has vintage frets (small).

I think my Clapton V-neck is much more comfortable than my American Deluxe V-neck. I don't have any reason why that is, just a different feel. Not to say my Am Dlx is uncomfortable, I love them both.
