I have 4 Fender strats and just aquired a Squier Showmaster. Iam sorry if I offend here guys But! I love this guitar more than all 3 of my Fender Stats! 24 frets is cool as I play 80s style Metal but the neck is Sooooooooo
Awesome!! much thinner and I cant stop playing it! So my guestions is this:
Are the Fender Showmasters the same as far as the neck? This Squier showmaster just fits my playing better and frankly,just feels better for me! I want to another one and searching alittle Iam wondering if the Fender showmaster are different than the Squier version? If someone could fill me in on this I would be very greatful!! Thanks!

I own a 2005 Fender Showmaster QMT-HH set neck and I would consider it to have a medium thin neck. I measured the neck at the nut, and it measures approx. 1 5/8" across. It is a nice feeling neck in my hand, so I know what you mean about that aspect of the guitar. This guitar is an awesome axe, but it never gets respect from Fender fans as it is not a "real" Strat. Thats okay cuz I love it anyway!!!
