Well there is a guitar I wanna buy ... It`s USA Fender HSS model made in 1989 .. used but in great shape. What are your thoughts about this guitar ..

Dude, without knowing where it was made (MIM, MIJ, MIA) and seeing some good pics, you might as well be asking us about any strat from 1989 in good shape. What about you? What do you think? Have you played it?

Well as I said its USA Series HSS Strat , I was just asking what you think about the HSS configuration , what sound it can produce .. I would post pics but im not sure how :)

Oh, you wanted to know about the HSS configuration. I'm a purist and really think the strat is a single coil guitar. Then again, I have a mexi-strat that has a seymour duncan lil screamin demon at the bridge and it's a monster. It will give you a fatter tone.

I have several Strats with the HSS format, and find them to be very versatile sound-wise. I also love my SSS format Strats too.

I have a 89 strat plus that is my Fav guitar. it's 19 years old and i play it every day. American Series from that era are very reliable, get it if you like it.
