so I see a lot of vintage 1960s era fenders in custom colors on eBay


examples in Sherwood green, firemist gold, charcoal frost and other oddball colors


I can only surmise that fender was churning these out and people in the 60's generally buying them, playing a few times then were
leaving them under the bed

are there any picture you can think of of contemporary artists using the more oddball 60's era custom color strats in the actual 1960's?
