As soon as I saw it, I thought White - looks better.

And the same conclusion the 2nd time I looked at it.

By the 3rd and 4th time however, I'm starting to think - actually, that black does have something going for it. It's actually quite compelling, even though it looks 'wrong'.

Shucks, get a cheap Mexican Strat in blue and put the black plate on that - problem solved..

ok cedar, its lookin close bro. the blk just makes it to where ya do a double take when you look at it. adds that bit of mystery to it as well.
almost makes ya want to name it..........shadowcaster.

cedar cedar cedar, i couldnt win the 335 JB conversion
for whatever reason :wink: , but it looks like the blk pickguard is gaining ground over the mint rather quickly.
no its not my guitar but you could always send it north and i'll gladly put the blk guard on it and sport it w/style.

lol when im doing a tour of fl next yr i might just do that lol.
im due down a couple times next yr.
