I'd say white. Like stated above, if you changed out the knobs and switch and the pickup covers to black, I think I'd like the black better. Tough choice though. They both look great. 8)

Mint green looks more classic and custom shoppy...the guitar looks very together with the mint green.

i think the white is to be expected, going with the grain so to speak.
now the blk has a bit of a growl to it, that snarling dog look.
the tone has to be the one to pick the color. ok so its like this......
does the tone have that
"ok i just put on a fresh pair of panties its off to the show".
or does it have that
"ok i have a leash on this beast but i dont know if i can hold it" tone to it?

A) Mint
B) Black.

That vehicle would rate display space next to the PT Cruiser low rider conversions and the Sentra/Corolla pocket rockets.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Except that was the car that my Dad and I spent every weekend, tuning up and racing at Colchester dragway.
It snacked on Z-28's...

I'm certain that the trophies in your den are worth at least twenty or thirty bucks at your next garage sale.

Meanwhile, the restored Z28 as I described is worth forty or fifty grand.

B) Black.

What if this Strat suffers from a Jekyll and Hyde personality? :D

The CS 69s in there now call for a mint pickguard, but the next set going in probably won't... but since the majority prefer the mint pickguard I'll go back to that

but white is sooooo COMMON.
snatch that bridge pup out and throw in a JB jr and you'll have the tone of my HW1. jb in the bridge and 69ers in the mid and neck.

Image

this guitar has serious ballz bro.
notice no white pickguard. then it would look like a million other strats.

LOL I still need a few more votes!

Black on black works, I wouldn't put a white PG on there...

Not familiar with the JB Jr., looks like a humbucker, I don't do humbuckers on Strats :) the 69's are nice, very smooth sounding, great for rhythm but I prefer a tone similar to what I get from the Fralin Blues Specials. I might put those back in this Strat...
