Hi,Guys i just got my new american strat in blizzard pearl with a maple neck. I love it!I have one question on the tone control ,the one on the bottom when you turn it to 10 it seems to have a dent at the 10 postion is this ok or is it defective seems to work ?thanks for the help[/img]

Welcome to the forum Lavender. The detent is purposeful. It just takes the pot out of the circuit on the bridge pup. Its called the delta tone circuit.

Hi lavenderblondegirl,

Yes, the Delta Tone No-Load Pot is a feature, just as described by tdanb2003. You'll notice a slight difference in the tone when it goes from 9.9 to the indented position. Strum a chord and move the pot to hear it. You have the same color as mine, it's an 08, great Strat. I really like how the color changes depending on the lighting and what the guitar is near, it picks up other colors. :D
