Neck pocket gaps bug me to no end. I know they don't really cause any trouble but they still bother me. I use them as a gauge as to how much care was taken in building the guitar. I have one of those '70s stratocasters that are supposed to be junk, but the neck pocket on that thing is so tight that air molecules can't get down inside.

Me, I'd have to return it.
