I Have a "made in Japan" 88-89 Strat that is in mint condition. I mean not a scratch anywhere. It's antique white with all the original harware. Any ideas?
Just a ballpark estimate would be good. Daddys Junky Music in CT said they would give me 100 dollars for it but I can't see letting it go for that.

400 to 500 hundred dollars seems to be about what they go for.

100 bucks sounds like a rip to me. You'd be better off doing a private sale.

You should ask "Daddys Junky Music in CT" for a dinner at least, before he tries to rape you with that 100 bucks blah.

Seriously, if it were mine I would keep it, the more time passes by the more it will add to its value.

Post some pictures of her, I´m sure youll do yourself a good deal around here.

Id say 500-600 bucks.

I have a similar question, sorry to hijack thread, but this is a related question, not worth another thread.

Would a painted headstock on a MIJ e-series Standard Strat (not a Contemporary model with a black headstock, but an ordinary 50s reissue type thing) raise the value much?
