Hi all and hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

I'm a completely new amateur to the guitar world and was recently given an American Fender body, or so I was lead to believe. I am slowly trying to restore it as I figured this would be a good learning experience. Any thoughts on what type of Strat(if it is at all) this might be?

I sanded down a bit further after the pics but the 6 is all I see?

Swimming pool route, microtilt, 2point trem ferrules.

It looks like a late 80's/ early 90's Standard to me mate.

Hey lets get a neck for her!
I dunno your budget for rebuilding it but this is a pretty good and cheap neck!
If you have more $$ for for a American Standard neck!
