Can I put Texas Specials in a 2010 American Standard. Will the Delta Tone interfere with anything? How will it effect the Texas Specials?

You can put Texas Specials or just about any pickups in a Strat with the Delta Tone, no problems at all. The Delta Tone is just a tone pot with a detent position at 10 on the knob, that removes the tone pot from the circuit, called a "no load" pot. It is the tone control for both the bridge and middle pickups, with the other tone control for the neck pickup. :)

Nor only you can, but you should, the DeltaTone sounds really good with Texas-Specials.

Take a look here, I´ve bought this FSR American Standard, and it comes with all of it stock.

That's nice. I almost bought one of those. I plan to get a 2010 American Standard body, put a 2010 Deluxe neck on it, (compund radius) and load it with Texas Specials.

And why not grab along the whole Deluxe Strat and just swap off the N3 pickups for your choice ? That way you wont have to say your strat is a partscaster. It will always be a Deluxe Strat.

Unless he doesn't care if it is a partscaster? I've seen many o' 'Partscaster' superior in everyway to anything coming out of a Fender factory. A name is only a name.

Nothing wrong with the playability of a well built partscaster. But they do tend to loose value over time for its unoriginality. Is that a proper word ?

Both are right, partsocasters are sweet.
However if you choose an American standard strat body and
American deluxe neck, you'll be in a world of hurt
if not prepared to do some drilling on the body or neck.
american deluxes have very nice necks, but the contured
heel on the body, has a slight drill pattern .
So makes them not compatible.
I do agree, to get the deluxe and swap electronics if you choose
that.
You can still nab 09 am deluxe at stores for 1100 and undr

There's a few of 'em on ebay from "The Stratosphere". Looks like they've already fixed 'em so as to interchange with most or all strats. If I'm mistaken please correct me so I don't make a mistake buying one of these necks. They drilled a hole for it to fit a regular strat. Please see the one at the address below.

bshane, 2 things to account for.
1. if the predrilled hole that was added by the seller, has to be dead on.
if its off by a few mm's the screw will not go in right. or the correct diameter.
its almost impossible to visually inspect the predrilled whole.

2. you may have to tap the whole.

if you want a deluxe neck, my sugestion is getting a deluxe body.

i have a standard and a deluxe.
both these strats have fantastic necks and bodies.
i like the deluxe's neck because its a v neck.

bu my fave is the one on my cp 60s. i love the gurthy and flatter radius.

the least one i like is the les paul, has a 60s neck, thin. great tone, but seldom play.
now bodies, the deluxe is my favorite by far, its kinda light, its not a thin skin but it feels and looks thin. the finish and wood is awesome.
contoured heel is kinda useful, to me it looks cool.
