Hey Stratdude83...

No I'm going to www.partsisparts.com
Warmoth has really nice necks but pricey. As far as finish I will do all that myself.
The body is a standard with SSS routing, came with vintage trem, 2 pups, tortoise pickguard, jackplate for $130. The previous owner had stripped it and urethane'd over a dark brown stain.
I just stripped it, awaiting for it to dry before sanding and painting (black).
My old MIM Deluxe pups will go in, with SI volume switch and TBX tone pots.
Neck will have Gotoh mini delta (18 to 1) and possibly a bridge change to a Wilkinson.

In the photo, the J.B. Player neck is just for layout ideas.ImageImage

The 2 tone is a 2001 Custom Shop 56 NOS, it is "THE" vintage sound played thru a 61 Magnatone.

ON the stained I think the previous owner of that body was dissapointed when he stripped the paint, only to find a 3 piece mismatched grain, was never meant to be anything but painted Black

Ha...Ha... Only if it plays Cobo Hall...jesting only!!!

That guitar is special, it is a bit unusual as it was ordered with gold hardware by the previous owner who happened to be a Fender Rep in the New England Region. I traded a 96 Larrivee O5 and a 04 Am. Standard black strat with D'imarzio's.
It was a showpiece for dealers, did not have a single nick or scratch when I got it last year. It does have a tiny ding now but it has been in a club twice as it is a guitar, not a museum piece. The tweed case is not the original, it came with a plain black case.
