I can't figure out what model number strat I have. It's made in Japan, and I believe it to be the "unknown model number" contemporary strat. From the serial number I determined it is a Fender Contemporary Stratocaster made in 1986....it's got a system 1 tremolo, 2 single coils, 1 humbucker, volume and TBX control, 5-way switch and a rosewood fretboard. The guitar is ALL black....everything but the fretboard and fine-tuning knobs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I called Fender consumer relations, but their system doesn't go back that far.
