Check your Tremplate for a burr, Is it a fairly new guitar. That may be the problem. Or it could be a sharp spot on the top of the Tremblock, or the top of the slot of the saddle, Nothing a file or sandpaper couldn't fix if thats your problem, I'm just guessing. I own a Roadhouse Strat It's worn in, Have had it for about 3 years. I use 9's and Never break a string. Check your Trem and Saddle parts. 8)

If they are breaking at the bridge/saddle, you may want to consider taking a small piece of wire insulation 1/2 to 3/4" (pull the metal wire out of the insulation) and run the high E and B string through it when you string up. Place the insulation where the string breaks (bends) down at the bridge - over the bend in the string. This will prevent the string from breaking because it adds a little padding. SRV used to do this. If you do a search of SRV string mod, you can probably find a pic. gOOD LUCK!

Easiest way is to see how much wire is left on the ball end and you tell us where it broke.
Obvious things first is have you changed brands recently or tried different brands and had the same issue?

Only other tip is you should not have the string make contact on the saddle twice. If you intonation has changed this can happen but you said you replaced the saddles.
