Not 100% sure, as I've never used a roller nut, but I believe you have to widen the nut slot to use one.
As far as the locking tuners go, I think the Fender tuners should be a direct fit.

if the lsr roller nut would be available in 42mm slot..it would directly fit in i guess..

I don't think the neccesary modification to use the roller nut would be very difficult for a skilled luthier. And I have heard a lot of good things about them.

Before using roller nut, is your actual nut is well shaped ? String guide are too narrow or too dept ?
Also use product to lubricate your nut lke nut sauce.

As long as the existing nut is well cut and lubricated, as per the above post (I prefer to use Graphite applied via a sharpened pencil) it should be fine.

Grease up the underside of any string trees with vaseline or lip salve.

You don't need locking tuners either - it's possible to lock a string to any tuner with just one or two turns and it won't shift. Ask here if you don't know how.

I can get pretty wild on my Strat trems and they return to pitch just fine. Leo's team knew what they were doing..

I use graphite mix with petroleum gelly (vaselin) which keep graphite on the nut. Works fine.

i get the graphite and vaseline part but i didnot get the lock tuners with one or two turns part.
i want it to return to zero-point even after excessive abuse even dive-bombs..
i know its possible with a 2-point + lsr roller nut + locking tuners.
but is it possible with the vintage?

I'm not sure if a "standard" Stratocaster is what you need for dive-bombs.
Maybe one with Floyd Rose + locking tuner + locking nut. But maybe the tone would'nt be te same.

+1 So True, To Dive Bomb properly, you will need a Floyd or Kahler Type Trem setup with a locking nut. The Standard Strat Trem is not designed for that. I'm not saying you cant Try, but it just will not be the same. 8)

Absolutely

If you want floyd rose performance the only way is to use a floyd rose system. All the locking tuners and LSR nut's in the world aren't going to give you that.
