Hi all, after much debate and a few weeks of watching eBay, I've finally purchased a Roland GR-20 Guitar Synth pedal to add sax, strings etc to my sixties band's sound.

Any tips on mounting the GK-3 hex pickup to a Strat? Mine's a '97 Strat Plus.

The GK3 comes with a mounting bracket for Les Paul style bridge, but obviously no good for a Strat. I haven't got the fixings for the GK3 as I bought "used" from eBay.... so no sticky pads to experiment with.

Any tips from those who have done this before? Particularly regarding positioning... I don't want to end up with multiple holes in my beloved Strat if I get it wrong! Also, any thoughts on best strings to use for clean synth triggering? I currently use D'addario 9.5s.

Thanks,
Paul
