Ryan,

Is that a mighty mite neck? The thread confused me.

Does Mighty Mite make quality necks?

No - - not from what I've seen anyway.

If it's made as good as it looks then I would say OK.

I am shopping for a neck right now, and was considering a MIghty neck.

So that's a Mighty Mite. Where did you get the Fender decals. Did you take them off a diiferent neck? How did you get them off without destroying 'em. And how did you get 'em to stick back down so nicely. I would really like to know. Looks like your string trees are alittle crooked.

When referring to premium parts, what company would that be? I have been looking at putting together a Warmoth strat and just using the hardware from an American Special. Would Warmoth be considered premium?

Most definitely. I have 2 Warmoth's and I couldn't be happier. I feel like I have custom shop grade guitars that I paid a fraction of the price for. They weren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but a whole lot cheaper than buying one of the major brands.

Here are my babies with specs for you, just so you can know what you're looking at...

Image
Alder body, maple top, cherryburst finish, natural masked binding, pearl white pick guard, DiMarzio Tone Zone S (B), DiMarzio Area 61 (M), DiMarzio Heavy Blues II (N), Wilkinson tremolo, switchcraft stereo jack, 500K pots volume is push/push for coil splitting the bridge pup. AAA birdseye maple neck and fingerboard, Wolfagang back contour and fingerboard radius, 6105 stainless steel fretwire, bone nut, Schaller locking tuners. This is my blues baby with the occasional rock attitude. Total cost, including parts, pups, shipping from US etc... $1800.00

Image
Black Korina chambered body with black Korina top. Alpine white with natural masked binding, vintage pearl pick guard, DiMarzio Super Distortion (B), Van Zandt Blues (M,N), Fender American standard tremolo, same pots and jack as the cherryburst guitar. Maple neck with a killer ebony fingerboard (look at that grain pattern). Neck contour is Fender thin C and Warmoth's 10-16 compound radius for the fingerboard. 6105 Stainless fretwire, bone nut, Schaller locking tuners. This guitar is my main player. Total cost, as above, $1200.00

You can get a solid color body for under 300 bucks and if you search through the showcase you can find good necks at an affordable price. That neck on the white one plays like butter and it was discounted because of the"imperfection" in the wood grain in the fingerboard. In my opinion that grain pattern makes the whole thing stand right out. I would have been willing to pay more for something like that.

And yes, your Fender parts will fit right on a Warmoth no problem.

Those are definately some fine looking instruments man. I love birdseye maple. And I've never seen anything like the grain on that ebony board. Nice, very nice. Very unique.

Fake decal with custom serial number, had it made for that build.

String trees aren't crooked it must just be the angle of the camera
