Do you think that this guitar can be modified to become a SSH instead of a HH?? because I want to buy another strat, specially a red one but the price ranges (both used and new) are equally or more expensive than the blacktop, but the hambucker on the neck position doesn't convinces me and I see the 22nd fret a plus, so im a little undecided.

Hi SeraV, weclome to the Forum.

Presuming that the wood is routed for a middle pickup then all you'd need to do is put an HSS pickguard on and install the pups of your choice. Easy-peasy.

However, far as I recall we haven't seen under the hood on the BlackTop Strat yet. Anyone know what the routing is, please?
