Nothing major, was opening the case whilst it was standing up and the detached wammy bar fell out of the case pocket and bounced down the length of the body, hitting the inside front of the case and then back onto the body of my guitar. Took a notch out the size of the threaded end, tiny really.

Now, I aint too worried about it, infact I'm a little bit happy. Sure I know that it's just wrecked the pristine-ness of my strat, but now its happened I don't have to constantly worry about the pristine-ness of my strat, and it's on its way to being a worn in strat. MY worn in strat.

N e way, I have a 2009 Candy Cola Am Std and the reason I'm posting this (and pictures tonight) is because the chip only removed the outer layer of paint and it turns out, like the CAR paint jobs, that a layer of Gold is sprayed underneath the Candy Cola. Apparently they use the same technique as spraying a CAR finish, which makes sense, but interesting to know none-the-less.

When CAR was formally introduced in 1963 the specified undercoat was silver. Gold was substituted in mid-year 1965, remaining as standard until Fullerton switched paint formulations from catalyzed acrylic lacquer to the "thick skin" finishes of the mid '70s as applied to ash bodies.

Wow! I never knew that about Candy Cola. All the little chips in mine dont quite make it through the first layer.
