Post subject: Will a Jag fit in a Strat/Tele case?

Hello all,

I have not yet decided on whether to get the Jaguar or not, and was wondering if a Jag will fit in the case that my Clapton Strat came in.

I also have a generic guitar case that fits most strat/tele-length guitars, but I'm doubtful that a guitar that doesn't fit in the other case will fit in this.

Some other candidates are:

Am. Std HSS Strat
MIJ 62's Strat (Not sure how I'd get my hands on one though...Ishibashi maybe)
Classic Player 60's Strat
60's Series Strat
MIM Std HSS Strat
Blacktop HH Strat

I've been craving for a humbucker-equipped guitar lately... :?

I'm assuming the five mentioned above will fit in my case :)

No.

The Strat and the Tele share case dimensions but the Jaguar and the Jazzmaster each have their own specific case, at least as far as vintage-style G&G models go.

XKE was a 2 seater coupe' from the british car maker Jaguar.
This was a pun response, evidently I'm showing my age :lol:

Google or wikipedia it it was a pretty cool car, just typical british constant mechanical upkeep

53 magnatone, the XKE was in my opinion the best looking car to ever come from Great Britain, and yes,I too am showing my age.
