Has anyone ever found a lick and hit it note for note for the first time? I'm sure all of you have but the tingle it sends up your spine is so cool. I am working on some Gilmore stuff and when is get it and it sounds just like the real thing it makes me want to play that much more.

yeah, actually yesterday I was into a solo of a song that i
wrote. I had thes beautiful tone had my vibrato on guitar
face on, sustaining like my runnon sentence.
Then I hit a few volume swells and sounded SICK,
accidentally I must add. I mean I was aiming for the effect
just didn't think it would come out that good.
I was in the zone.
Needless to say I coulnt reach the effect the same.
I just gotta practice.

back in my day it would have been groovy,or far out....sounds stupid nowadays doesn't it? :oops:

Sick would presumably be posetive in this context.

And it doesn't really matter what you say imo, none of the examples you gave are thaaat old.

For me it's hitting something and then wondering "how did I do that?"...and then trying and not being able to duplicate it....I saw Jack Pearson talking about that also.
I think when you do that it just proves that your mind and instrument are connected,and your music is flowing....the link is there from the soul.....or wherever you think it comes from.
