Hey all,

I just bought some JM pups and I am having a hell of a time figuring out how to wire these suckers. I'm talking about the wiring for connecting the pups to the pots, selector, etc. Any insight, diagram links or whatever is greatly appreciated. Rock on!

Hi cjjones,

What guitar are you putting the pickups in? It makes a difference as to which wiring diagram that you might need.

Then your wiring should look something like this. http://support.fender.com/diagrams/stratocaster/0100102B/SD0100102BPg2.pdf The JM pickups should be marked for their position in the body (nk, md), and are like any other pickups for wiring, yellow wire on mid pickup. They can be wired to exactly the same places that your current pickups are now, with all three black leads soldered to the back of the pot. :)
