I have a 1992 strat plus with lace sensor pickups. I love it, but I have developed a ground hum. Should I first look at the pickups going bad, or look at the pots first?

I doubt it's the pickups. It's more likely a bad solder joint at ground somewhere. Sometimes all you need to do is reflow the solder. Check all your solder connections, shielding, block...etc.
