I found what could be a really good deal on a Strat, the only problem is I have no idea what it is. It is a project guitar, with a big headstock and rosewood board. The is no decal on the headstock, because it was a refinish project that someone never finished...thats the story anyway.

My question is about the routing. It is similar to a swimming pool route, but the routing for the neck pickup is separate from the rest of the "pool." Its routed for a humbucker in the neck position...

Any ideas on what it could be?

Nevermind. A quick search of the guitar forum it was on led to a thread about him trying to sell a blue Squier, and then another thread about how it wouldnt sell, so he was turning it into a Hendrix project... It showed every step of him turning his blue Squier into an even worse POS that he tried to pass off as an American Standard...
