Im wondering if it would warrant I higher price for the guitar, Im looking at one that seems a little more expensive than what the going rate on ebay is.

Its a 1987 e-series in Lake Placid Blue.

Does anyone know anything about these models?

Fairly common, discontinued in 2009 is the Special Edition Aerodyne Classic Model Strat, carved top, binded edges, painted headstock, available in natural, crimson red transparent, blue transparent.

Thanks for the response 53mag. This looks like a MIJ standard strat with a painted headstock though, rather than a model that comes standard with a painted headstock like a Contemporary or Aerodyne Strat.

Also I cant find any pictures online of something like this.
