Very cool, looks just like the 50th Anniv. Mary Kay strat I have, and had on ebay for awhile.
I'd post a pic but don't know how to upload[/img][/quote

You have to go to photobucket.com and upload your pics there then copy the image code from the little box under the image and paste it in these boxes here.

Great finish. When did you order it? When did you take delivery? I'm waiting on a '57 Vintage Hotrod since a April. I'm hoping for December.

I found this one on ebay a few weeks ago. It was brand new, still in the fender box, never been opened. It only took seven days for it to get here. Congrats on your Hot Rod. hope you get it soon.

Mate watch that stand you're using.

The foam on those support arms can eat into the cellulose finish of the guitar.
I used the same type for a while. I cut a old tshirt down the side seams and drapped it over the stand before putting my guitar on it.

Fhop
Do you cover the neck rest bit too? The 57RI has a cellulose finished neck so it will eat into that too if not protected.

I only nicked the idea off you anyway. I always seem to be short of socks and have a abundance of old tshirts.

Yes I do Nick. I use a t-shirt like you!!
I've got 3 different types of stands and one off them does not have a neck rest, it just has a body rest instead ,if you know the kind I'm talking about. I just slip a cotton shirt over the whole thing.
