Post subject: Is an AVRI '62 Hot Rod neck worth $300 ?

I'm gonna put together a strat to keep from doing any modifications to my AVRI 57. I 'm pretty sure I want a 62 hot rod neck American Vintage. The one I'm looking at is a rosewood fingerboard and it's just the neck, no tuning machines or string tree. Is it worth $300? About how much is it worth?

In as new condition as Stratosphere sells em, I'd have said $5/600 would be nearer the mark.
