...and I definately want one now. I played 2 Stratocasters, a Jag, and a Tele. All three were great, but I absolutely love the Stratocaster. The Black on Black looks awesome up close. It plays like a dream. The tones I was getting out of it were phenominal. I am now GASing for one. This will be my next purchace.

I got one of these about a month ago. The red one with a maple neck. I have a Players deluxe Stratocaster with vintage noiseless with a rosewood neck, so I wanted something beefier with a maple neck. I thought that it would be nice to have split coils as well...

The Blacktop is a total different animal than the Deluxe and in a good way tone wise and flexibility. I have a Blues Jr. with a Cannabis Rex and the Blacktop has a damn good tone through that amp with just a cable and the guitar hooked up. With the Deluxe I have to add EQ and compressors to get the same mid tones. Same thing through my Frontman 212 with Texas Heats in it...

The Deluxe has it's place in my mixes, but I am finding that the Blacktop is starting to be my go to guitar when I am recording tracks. I use a zoom g92tt for my recording and the Blacktop sounds really good through that and being able to get a humbucker sound and a single coil sound without having to switch guitars during a take is really cool.

By switching this thing totally to the neck pickup is like hitting a booster pedal during a lead run...

Black Top concept gives the Strat a different personality. I loaded my 2010 Deluxe with Gibson Dirty Fingers and Burstbucker 2 and am very pleased with the results.

Thanks to the Black Top promotion.

I have been thinking of loading the Dirty Fingers in my Deluxe, but I am thinking of getting that Epiphone Prophecy SG Custom GX that comes with the Dirty Fingers.

How was the wiring job on that Deluxe? You have the one with the button?

I had the set up installed at a shop. Attached are a couple of before and after shots. Sound is amazing as well.

Roll the volumes back and it is very clean Fender Strat sound.

Black Top options that Fender promotes are great in themselves.

The N3 line just was not quite as full sounding as I thought they would be, this works.
