Nutz me old mate

The ultimate sarcasm was from Ceri proving that I actually did need his help.

Them decals look superb, I couldn't have got em so good.

Would you believe I've never applied a waterslide before today. The ones you see on this thread are attempts 1&2. All because of good instruction nicely laid out in type on a bit of paper.

Non of that from me, it's all scrawly handwriting in sharpie marker. Chet and MrX will both testify to the uselessness of my handwriting. The enigma machine has nothing on it.

Nik that pedal sounds fantastic.

xefri's playing sure doesn't hurt it either.

I love the old school fuzz tone, that seemed to get lost in the wake of high gain distortion pedals.

Glad to have been some small help with the project.

Ditched the idea, didn't like the look of it. Looks much better with a splash of colour on it.

Ok after a bit of a disaster yesterday with a acrylic clear coat melting through the enamel paint on these boxes, we have a bit of a recovery.

Thanks Ceri, these decals are fantastic and super easy to apply.

Just off to by some enamel clearcoat, then this pedal is done.

Hi Hop - hee-hee!

I totally eff'd up on a logo for Twelvebar - which turned out OK cos he's much better at that stuff than me. But I've been quietly itching to somehow redeem my shame on that: perhaps this could be the moment.

I was kinda thinking: E H Shepherd-meets-the-electric-guitar. If anyone knows who E H Shepherd was, that is...

I can suddenly visualise all sorts of other badger logos for different pedals too. Could be the beginning of something interesting. Hey, who cares what it sounds like - the logo is the important bit.

Cheers - C

But even more important than the color is that "Badger" sound. Like Bad Badger, Big Badger, Bold Badger, Bright Badger.....the option for tone controls is amazing!

Holy cow! I like it! Ceri can wield a pencil, that's for sure! I'd buy one of those pedals with the blue badger on it. I think something along these lines would make a great logo!

Ok with renewed vigour I'll attempt the decal bit again. Though I make no promises.

I also have to side with Impulse's take on this. Every pedal should have a nectar control. You could get just as many names with bee's. Fuzzy Bee, Worker Bee, Angry Bee,Killer Bee, Queen Bee (maybe a rangemanster clone in that, just to be extra cheeky).

The really soppy area of my mind has a good deal of sympathy with the typical bee. Their diminishing numbers cause me all sorts of anxiety. Never mind having to deal with wasps (the skinheads of the insect world).

A few years back I chainsawed through a wasp hive, getting bushes out of the garden. After hurling a running chainsaw and scarpering for my life. (Looked back and the chainsaw was black with wasps attacking it. Oblivious to the heat of the motor) I was left with no option other than a war of utter attrition on the wasps. I adopted a scorched earth policy and went off to get a gallon of petrol.

Quite an amazing sight to see all them horrible wasps on fire, trying to flee a burning hive.

Anyways since then we've had a couple of solitary bees take up residence in the front garden. We get two every year, they can't be the same ones.
I personaly think their solitary bees that have been kicked out of the solitary society for acknowledging each other. Perhaps nodding to each other in passing.

I can see another who line emerging. The Wasp—The Black Wasp, Angry Wasp, Burning Wasp, Killer Wasp. The skin-head, death metal people would love it....... Going from 'bee" to "wasp" is as nature as Apple going from 'tiger" to "panther" to "snow leopard"!!!

I see Mr C.'s skills are coming out. Pretty handy with the pencil there Mr. C!!!!

Thank you. And it seems you've just set me quite a big new assignment. Hmmm...

Luckily for me, I'm just heading to the door for an evening out and I'm leaving my pencil behind!

See y'all later - C
